I’m a bit disappointed with Dio Mio.. This was my second dinner here and last night was very mediocre. I personally prefer their small plates over their pasta. The charred cabbage and focaccia with black butter were tasty. Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy the squid ink fettuccini or radiatori. It lacked flavor. I felt the hostess was a bit rude last night too. Overall, good small plates, but below average pasta.

Came in here for some pasta and apps and was pleasantly surprised. The dishes were quite good, and textures were present in the dishes I haven’t had before in pasta. Kinda odd service style order up front but the pasta makes up for it.

Came here on a Saturday night after reading reviews and was pretty pleased!

The food is the best part. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Service is a bit confusing. We apparently missed host and went straight in line to order, then claimed table. So no wait! We were at a corner table and it was quite warm. To get more of anything, you have to go up and get in line again. The atmosphere was hip and trendy.

We started with seasonal sweet potato croquettes that weren’t my favorite (they were well executed just seemed a little out of place) but everything else was stunning! The meatballs were incredibly soft and the sauce, basil and ricotta was amazing. Get the meatballs!!!

For pasta I had the famous and delicious caccio e Pepe. It’s a pretty big portion and I happily took some leftovers home. Very instagramable with the pink peppercorns. Boyfriend’s rigatoni was nice and spicy!

They had NA IPA which was great and wine that comes out of a box for $11/glass. Still good wine ?

Oh- dessert was amazing! Strawberry French toast cannolis disappeared quickly and I’m not even a dessert person! You must get the cannolis too!

SUCH great food here! I came for an easy and comforting meal and that's exactly what I got. The pasta was delicious. My husband and I shared the cacio e pepe and the duck tortellini. We also got both the savory & sweet cannoli. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

I really loved that we could order everything at once and close out at any time. It made the meal seamless for myself and the servers.

We ordered appetizers and two dishes.

Our appetizers were Fried King mushrooms with a cream tarragon spice, and Tuna Aguachile. Both were excellent.

We ordered the Casio e Pepe pasta which was under cooked and crunchy, and tasted like someone in the kitchen spilled a bottle of salt on it. It was so bad we didn’t even take more than two bites.

We also ordered the Squid Ink Cavetelli, which was spicy and pretty good, but was still salty.

First timers here and definitely won’t be back.

Maybe ask for no salt in your pastas?

One of the best meals I have ever had, and I have had a lot of fabulous food. Wonderful service and flavor explosion in every dish! Incredible sauces and layers of flavor. I tried the Madre Paloma, lasagna for 2, artichokes, mushrooms, polenta, focaccia with black butter. It was all amazing! Will definitely go back.

This place is so good we ate here twice during our stay in the RiNo area of Denver. My wife and I had the lasagna for 2. It’s a modern take on lasagna and it is next level good. Great noodles, filling and sauce. The kids had spaghetti with meatballs which was large enough to split between two kids. Will definitely be back the next time we’re in Denver.
