I started going to Lan Hu for my haircuts over a year ago and have not been to anyone else since. She is the only person that I trust with my hair now. She always takes her time during my haircuts and is very detail-oriented, not to mention incredibly talented. She understands exactly what I want and is always determined to make sure I'm happy with the result. I walk out of the salon feeling refreshed, confident, and cared for. Everyone always asks me where I get my haircut because of how beautiful my results are every time. I even convinced my boyfriend to get a haircut with her once, when his barber was unavailable, and he said it was one of the best haircuts of his life. Lan will take care of you and goes above and beyond for all of her clients!

I read some online reviews and booked an appointment with Lan. She did an incredible job. Not only did she confirm each aspect of the cut as she went to make sure I was happy with it, but she styled my hair in a much nicer way than I had asked for. She has an excellent eye and is so precise. At one point she was stooping on the ground to get one perfectly angled cut on a few strands that were out of place! Her prices are so reasonable too. Impressed and will be returning!

Lena is incredible!! Julie seems fantastic as well. After doing some research of salons in the area, I asked Lena to cut my hair the other day. I had shoulder length hair and asked her to pretty much chop it all off. Showing her a couple of photos, I asked that she try to create something similar. She did a crazy amazing unbelievably fantastic job and I can't thank her enough 🙂 I feel like a new person! Definitely hit her up!

I usually don't leave reviews, but I had to for Lan. She did such an amazing job on my haircut. I came as a walk-in, and she actually stayed past closing time just to accommodate me. I can honestly say this is the best haircut I've ever gotten. Very reasonably priced as well. You have earned a customer for life, Lan!

After 5.5 hours, I walked away with a horrible hair color, texture & cut. It has been over a month since I got my hair color & cut by Julie and I have not been able to put my hair down once, that’s how bad it looks. My family members and myself have used Lena’s (the other owner) service before and we love it. I had a trim done by Julie before and it was not a bad cut. Hence, when I couldn’t book an appointment with Lena, I thought Julie would do a good job too. Big mistake.

First, the lack of professionalism in handling her client’s appointments is mind-blowing. During my first appointment with Julie she kept interrupting my haircut and going back to another client’s hair trying to fix the color that she messed-up for her. I thought this is a fluke and accidents happen. But the same thing happened this time. She actually cut and colored the hair of two other clients while I was sitting in her chair hence, the 5.5-hour appointment.

I specifically told Julie that I stopped bleaching my hair five years ago because, although I liked the color, I didn’t like the texture of my hair after bleaching. I specified that I would like her to get my hair to the lightest shade possible without bleach. My previous hair-stylist, which I used for a number of years, was able to get the right shade with one treatment only. Julie proceeded to indicate that I would need multiple treatments to get such results. She spoke with such confidence that I thought I’ll give her the chance to try. She used three treatments on my hair. My hair is so beaten up, cracked and dry that I might as well have bleached it. At least, with bleach I will have dry hair but with better color. Now, I just have a bleached dry texture but with a horrible color.

I usually alternate between Aloe Vera and coconut oil in weekly treatments to maintain my hair’s texture and shine. I did not use them daily because they usually over-softened my hair. Since the hair cut, I have been using both on daily bases for over a month now and my hair is still so dry and shedding like crazy in the shower.

I usually don’t write reviews but after struggling with my hair for over a month, I felt strongly enough to write this extensive review. Again, this is not a review on the other stylist in the salon. I have used Lena and I like her work and her work ethics. I have not used any of the other stylists, so I cannot speak to the quality of their work. This is a specific review about Julie and the quality of her work and her general lack of professionalism in handling her clients.

I don't usually write reviews but just had an amazing experience here. Lena was amazing, incredibly attentive, and she puts a lot of creativity and heart into her work. Julie is also amazing! I've seen her several times and she has given me the only short hair cuts that I like!! Great place.

I can't say enough about the talent and kindness of the staff at this place! I stopped by for what I thought would be a small bang trim and Lena essentially gave me a full reshape and style. Her attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond for others is remarkable. As a relatively transient person with fine, wavy hair I've had difficulty finding a solid, consistent salon. I'm so happy to have found Vinndio for all my future cuts!
